Maryland Grazers Network
The Maryland Grazers Network is a new mentorship program that pairs experienced Livestock, Dairy, Sheep and Poultry producers with farmers who want to learn new grazing skills. The Grazer's Network Team provides technical assistance and includes experts in pasture and forage management, financial management, marketing to improve your bottom line, and funding resources for grazing and water quality. The Network is a program of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Summer Field Days - The Network, in partnership with Future Harvest CASA, held two successful Field Days in June. Holterholm Dairy Farm in Frederick County on June 23rd and Wye Beef Cattle Research Farm in Queen Anne's County on June 29th. There was a great turn out for both events: Holterholm Dairy, over 65 attendees from MD, VA, and WV and Wye Beef Cattle Research Farm, over 40 attending from MD and DE. Attendees learned about how these unique farms go about their grazing operations and technical assistance available through the Grazer's Network.
