Future Harvest CASA is a membership organization, governed by an 18-member board of directors whose members hail from Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The organization's staff inlcludes the executive director and several part-time specialists.

The Board of Directors is nominated and selected by members at the annual membership meeting held in January.   Directors serve as volunteers for three-year terms. Terms are renewable for a total of three terms.
