Learn About Food Alliance Certification at PASA Field Day
Food Alliance is a nonprofit organization that certifies farms, ranches and food handlers for sustainable agricultural and facility management practices. Whether you are simply curious to learn more about Food Alliance Certification, or you are about to begin your application, this event will take you through the A-B-C's of what you need to know about Food Alliance Certification.
The cost of the field day is $15 for PASA members and Future Harvest-CASA members, ONLY with pre-registration. All others, $25. Contact Rebecca Robertston at PASA, (814) 349-9856, ext. 20, to pre-register.

Provide Agricultural Input to Sustainable Maryland
The Environmental Finance Center at the University of Maryland (EFC) has launched Sustainable Maryland, a program that seeks a measurable way to help communities grow greener while protecting their natural assets and revitalizing their communities. Future Harvest-CASA has been invited to participate in the process of helping to define what agricultural sustainability means for Maryland communities. We are seeking two active Maryland farmers who would like to be a part of this process through one or two meetings. Please contact Alice Chalmers at
