Pest and Disease Scouting Workshop (Easton, MD)

Want to keep your crops healthy? Need help identifying and responding to those bugs and spots on your crops? Join us at Cottingham Farm to learn to scout, identify, and treat pest and disease issues on your farm. Join us June 23, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in Easton, MD (Eastern Shore, MD). Register HERE

In this workshop, we will learn good technique for scouting your fields; how to identify possible pests and diseases; and the biological control, organic, and IPM options for addressing the problems you’ve identified. We will cover some of the common pests and plant diseases in our region and will have time for specific questions. There will be a potluck lunch at the end of the workshop.

University of Maryland Extension (UME) Entomologist Emily Zobel, UME Fruit and Vegetable Extension Agent and Certified Crop Advisor Manish Poudel, and Cottingham Farm owner/farmer Cleo Braver will lead the workshop and share their knowledge and experience!
